Communicationmessages between FLOW‐BUSinterfacesandotherdevicesconsist of commandstringswithspecific
information.Thiscommand stringiseitherASCII(RS232)orBINARY. Basically thestring contains several information
bytes.ThroughRS232thesehexadecimalbytesareconvertedinASCII(e.g.:bytevalue0x0Ais"0A"inASCIIand
capital
lettersshould be used).MessagesviaRS232arepreceded bythe“:”character andterminatedwith"\r\n"(Carriage
return‐Line‐feed).
ThereareseveralCOMMANDSavailableintheFLOW‐BUSmessages.OnlycommandRD(04)andWR(01)arerequired
forallthestandardparameterreadingandwriting.A
RDcommandwillbeansweredwithaWRcommand,containing
thevalueaskedfororastatusmessage,containinganerrornumber.A WRcommandwillbeansweredwithastatus
message,containinganerrornumber(iferrornumber=0,thanWRcommandwasOK).
